NetMail is an e-mail system for local networks and mobile access, either with the built-in webmail interface, or using the NetMail client software. Includes groupware functions like a diary with notification pop-up, shared pinboard, and instant messaging window. Users can read and write e-mails from all LAN workstations. Also optimized for mobile users: highly efficient compression and full-duplex transfer for GSM, GPRS, UMTS, TCP/IP connections. Gateway includes heuristic virus detection and rule-based spam filter so that these e-mails are not forwarded to network or mobile users. Menu language is selectable English or German. (NetMail has its own client software, Outlook etc. cannot be used.)
