LeagueCast Privacy Policy

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Peak Download LLC ("Peak Download," "we," "us," or "our") handles information for LeagueCast, a mobile app for organizing and scoring amateur sports leagues ("LeagueCast" or the "App"). It applies to LeagueCast only. If anything here conflicts with a claim made elsewhere, this page and the App's actual behavior control.

Information we collect

LeagueCast collects only the information needed to run an account and a league:

• Account information you provide: your full name, email address, and password at sign-up. Your password is handled by our authentication provider (Firebase Authentication) and is never visible to us in plain text.
• Account identifier: a unique user ID assigned by Firebase Authentication when your account is created.
• League membership and role information: which leagues, seasons, and teams you belong to, and your role in them (for example, commissioner, captain, or player).
• League, schedule, and scoring data: team and player names, schedules, scores, results, standings, and statistics that you or other league participants enter, or that the App calculates from that entered data.
• Sponsor or league-partner banner images: if a league commissioner uses the optional sponsor feature, LeagueCast requests access to your device's photo library only to select and upload that banner image.

LeagueCast does not currently collect app usage analytics, crash or diagnostic telemetry, advertising identifiers, precise or approximate location, contacts, camera access, or microphone access. We do not request any device permission beyond photo-library access for the sponsor-banner feature described above.

How we use information

We use the information above to:

• create and authenticate your account, and let you sign back in and reset a forgotten password;
• operate the leagues, seasons, and teams you create or join;
• calculate and display schedules, scores, standings, and statistics;
• support account and league administration, including responding to support requests; and
• operate and secure the service, including maintaining the underlying database and preventing misuse.

Third-party service providers

LeagueCast is built on a small number of third-party service providers who process information on our behalf to run the App:

• Firebase (Google Cloud): account authentication, our database, and the backend functions that run league, scoring, and account-deletion logic.
• Resend: delivers password-reset emails on our behalf.

LeagueCast includes a dormant subscription feature ("LeagueCast Pro") built on RevenueCat, a subscription-billing provider. In the current version of the App, this feature is disabled for every user: the RevenueCat SDK is never initialized and no purchase, subscription, or billing data is collected or transmitted to RevenueCat or any payment processor. If we enable a paid feature in a future release, we will update this policy before doing so to describe what purchase-related information is collected and shared.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share league or account data with third parties for their own advertising purposes.

Advertising and tracking

LeagueCast does not include advertising SDKs, does not display third-party ads, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. No advertising identifier is collected or used.

Retention and account deletion

You can delete your LeagueCast account at any time, in two ways:

• In the app: before joining or creating a league, tap Account on the entry screen; afterward, go to Settings → Account & Privacy. Either way, tap Delete Account and confirm.
• Without the app: see LeagueCast account deletion for how to request deletion by email if you cannot or do not want to open the App.

Confirming deletion removes your sign-in immediately. LeagueCast then removes:

• your account profile record; and
• your membership records in any leagues, teams, and seasons you participated in.

League and season records that other participants rely on — such as completed scores, results, standings, and statistics — are part of the league's shared competitive history and are not deleted when you delete your account. These records are not automatically anonymized or disconnected from the name you used at the time; they remain part of the historical record for the leagues you played in, in the same way a paper standings sheet or scorebook from past play would. We retain them because they are collectively maintained league records that other participants continue to rely on, not private records belonging only to you. Security

We use our service providers' industry-standard access controls and infrastructure to protect information. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

LeagueCast is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us using the information below and we will address it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes to LeagueCast or applicable law. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of LeagueCast after an update means you accept the revised policy.
