LeagueCast Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Peak Download LLC ("Peak Download," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with LeagueCast, a mobile app for organizing and scoring amateur sports leagues (the "App" or the "Service"). It applies to LeagueCast only.

LeagueCast is a shared, multi-participant league-management tool. Because of that, this policy pays particular attention to two things people frequently ask about: what happens to your information when you delete your LeagueCast account, and how that differs from the shared league history that other participants continue to rely on. 2. Information we collect

LeagueCast collects the information described in sections 3–7 below: information you provide to create and use an authenticated account, league and participation information generated by using the App, information others may submit about you as a league participant, content you or a league commissioner choose to upload, and limited technical and operational information needed to run the Service.

3. Account information

If you create an authenticated LeagueCast account, we collect the full name, email address, and password you provide at sign-up. Your password is handled by our authentication provider and is never visible to us in plain text. Your account is also associated with a unique account identifier assigned automatically when the account is created.

4. League and participation information

LeagueCast records which leagues, seasons, and teams an account belongs to and the role held there (for example, commissioner, captain, or player), along with league, schedule, and scoring data — team and player names, schedules, scores, results, standings, and statistics — that a participant enters, or that the App calculates from that entered data.

5. Information submitted by league administrators or other participants

A league commissioner, captain, or other participant may enter information about you as a player or participant — for example, adding your name to a team roster or scoring a game you played in — even if you do not personally hold a LeagueCast account. A player or participant record created this way is a separate thing from an authenticated LeagueCast account; see section 13 for how LeagueCast treats that distinction, particularly after an account is deleted.

6. Uploaded content

If a league commissioner uses the optional sponsor or league-partner feature, LeagueCast requests access to the device's photo library only to select and upload that sponsor banner image. That image is shared with the league's participants as part of the league's presentation.

7. Technical and operational information

LeagueCast does not currently collect app usage analytics, crash or diagnostic telemetry, advertising identifiers, precise or approximate location, contacts, camera access, or microphone access. We do not request any device permission beyond the photo-library access described in section 6. Our service providers necessarily process limited technical information (such as request and error logs) in the ordinary course of operating the infrastructure LeagueCast runs on.

8. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

• create and authenticate an account, and support signing back in or resetting a forgotten password;
• operate the leagues, seasons, and teams an account creates or joins;
• calculate and display schedules, scores, standings, and statistics;
• support account and league administration, including responding to support and privacy requests; and
• operate and secure the Service, including maintaining the underlying infrastructure and preventing misuse.

9. Shared league information

League, team, schedule, scoring, and roster information within a given league is inherently shared among the participants in that league — it is not private to a single user. Commissioners, captains, and players in the same league or season can see the same underlying league data as part of ordinary use of the Service.

10. Service providers

LeagueCast is built on a small number of third-party service providers who process information on our behalf to run the App:

• Google Firebase / Google Cloud: account authentication, our database, and the backend functions that run league, scoring, and account-deletion logic.
• Resend: delivers password-reset emails on our behalf.

LeagueCast includes a subscription feature ("LeagueCast Pro") built on RevenueCat, a subscription-billing provider. In the current version of the App, this feature is disabled for every user: the RevenueCat SDK is never initialized, and no purchase, subscription, or billing data is collected or transmitted to RevenueCat or any payment processor. If we enable a paid feature in a future release, purchases would also be subject to the terms and privacy practices of the applicable app store (Apple App Store or Google Play), and we will update this policy before enabling it to describe what purchase-related information is collected and shared.

11. Sale, advertising, and tracking

Peak Download does not sell LeagueCast personal information for monetary consideration, and we do not share league or account data with third parties for their own advertising purposes. LeagueCast does not include advertising SDKs, does not display third-party ads, and does not currently use third-party behavioral or cross-app advertising tracking. No advertising identifier is collected or used.

12. Data retention

We retain account and league information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Sections 13–17 describe, specifically, what happens to information when an authenticated account is deleted and what may remain afterward. We do not promise an indefinite retention period, and we do not promise that all information is retained forever.

13. Historical league records

An authenticated LeagueCast user account is not necessarily the same thing as a player or participant record within a league's history. LeagueCast maintains shared historical sporting records — the ongoing record of a league's play that other participants rely on — separately from the authenticated accounts that may, at a given time, be associated with them.

Deleting an authenticated LeagueCast account does not necessarily erase or recalculate a league's shared historical competition history. Historical information that may remain includes:

• a participant's display name as it appears in historical league records;
• the player or participant identity within historical league, team, and roster records;
• team and roster history;
• schedules;
• completed games and matches;
• scores and results;
• standings;
• statistics and records; and
• player performance history.

When an authenticated account tied to a player record is deleted, the authenticated-account association is removed from that historical player record going forward. The historical player identity and the sporting record connected to it are not deleted, are not treated as anonymous, and are not otherwise anonymized — the participant's historical display name remains as part of the league's record, in the same way a paper standings sheet or scorebook from past play would still show who played. We retain these records because they are collectively maintained league records that other participants continue to rely on, not private records belonging only to one person. This does not mean every reference to a former account's identifier is removed from every corner of our systems; section 16 and our Account Deletion page describe this in more detail, including limited administrative and audit information that may remain.

14. Account deletion

You can request deletion of your authenticated LeagueCast account at any time, either using the in-app option or, if you cannot or do not want to open the App, by emailing us. Full step-by-step instructions for both methods are on our dedicated LeagueCast Account Deletion page. LeagueCast does not report an account-deletion request as completed unless the required deletion operations have completed successfully; if something prevents that, the request remains valid and can be completed on a later attempt.

15. What account deletion removes

Subject to applicable law, confirming account deletion removes or disables, as applicable:

• your ability to sign in to the deleted account;
• your account profile information;
• your active membership in any leagues, seasons, and teams;
• active captain access tied to your account;
• purchase-intent or purchaser references tied to your account, where applicable; and
• the authenticated-account link to any player record you had claimed as yourself.

See section 16 for what this does not remove.

16. What may remain

LeagueCast is a shared league-record system. As described in section 13, deleting an account does not necessarily delete or recalculate a league's historical participant name, league or season history, team or roster history, schedules, completed games or matches, scores or results, standings, statistics, records, or player performance history. These records may remain because they form part of the shared competition history that affects other league participants, not because they belong solely to the deleted account. The authenticated-account association is removed from the historical player record, but the historical player identity and record are not.

Peak Download may also retain limited information reasonably necessary to process and document deletion requests, protect the security and integrity of the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain administrative and audit history, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, comply with valid legal process and applicable law, and establish, exercise, or defend legal rights. We do not publicly enumerate the specific technical fields involved, we do not promise a fixed retention period for this information, and we do not retain it indefinitely by default.

17. Requests concerning historical information

If you are concerned about personal information appearing in a league's retained historical records — for example, a display name associated with a player record — contact privacy@peakdownload.com. We do not promise automatic removal of historical league information. Peak Download will evaluate such requests based on applicable law, the nature of the information, our legitimate interest in maintaining accurate shared league records, and the rights and interests of other affected participants.

18. Security

We use our service providers' industry-standard access controls and infrastructure, and reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures, to help protect information. No application, internet transmission, database, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

19. Children's privacy

LeagueCast is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through a self-created account. As described in section 5, a league commissioner, captain, or other adult participant may maintain a player or roster record for a participant — including a minor — who does not independently create or hold a LeagueCast account. If you believe a child has created a LeagueCast account or otherwise provided us with personal information directly, contact us using the information in section 24 and we will address it.

20. Legal requirements and protection of rights

We may access, preserve, or disclose information if we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request; to enforce our Terms of Use or other agreements; to detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Peak Download, our users, or the public, as permitted or required by applicable law.

21. Business transfers

If Peak Download is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of some or all of its assets, information described in this policy may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy or a successor policy that addresses the information's handling.

22. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes to LeagueCast or applicable law. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of LeagueCast after an update means you accept the revised policy.

23. Privacy rights

Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you certain rights regarding personal information we hold about you, such as a right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of that information. Any such rights are subject to verification of your identity and to exceptions and limitations permitted or required by applicable law.
